Widebody wonders

I want to congratulate our customers on some pretty impressive ceremonies over the past few days— marking some big milestones. As always, the pictures tell a better story than me.

The first 787-9 for Etihad Airways rolls out of the paint hangar in Everett with its new ‘Facets of Abu Dhabi’ livery.

Air China took delivery of the its first 747-8 Intercontinental.

China Eastern debuted its new livery when it took delivery of its first 777-300ER.

Andrew Boydston (Boise, ID USA):

You have pictured a few great planes that will enhance the Orient for its customers. Especially the 747-8i. A plane that fits with China's population needs and its connectivity for its own resources with both passengers and freight in mind. It's self evident China Airlines are thinking carefully through its transportation solutions, and have acquired Boeing aircraft according to those requisites. Congratulations and great excitement for these monumental Boeing acquisitions for its customers.

Kevin (Los Angeles, CA):

I hope Air China keeps its livery which looks so good on the new 8I.

Norman Garza (Long Beach, CA):

The Air China Livery looks very good on the 747-8I. The new livery on China Eastern's 777-300ER looks different without the stripes. Congrats on all the deliveries.
