That's a wrap

As we wrap up 2014, we’re welcoming two more customers to the 787 family. Avianca and Azerbaijan Airlines took home their first Dreamliners during the past week.

Our 787 customers continue to find amazing ways to use their airplanes. We call it the Dreamliner Effect, and you can see some of our customers share their stories on this special webpage. We appreciate the positive feedback— which is the greatest compliment of all.

We’re also ending the year with more positive news for the 777-300ER as we bridge production to the 777X. Today, we finalized an order with Kuwait Airways for 10 777-300ERs. It’s clear that the airplane continues to be key part of the fleet for current and new customers.

As we head out for the Boeing holiday break, I wanted to thank all of you who’ve followed this blog in 2014. I wish you and your family the best during the holiday season, and look forward to meeting you right back here in the New Year.

I’ll leave you with some of my favorite images from 2014, starting with the YouTube video (embedded below) of the 787-9’s practice routine for the Farnborough Airshow.
